Mahopac High School students have the chance to showcase their creativity in the school’s monthly Pizza Creation Contest. Throughout each month, students submit their unique pizza topping ideas by placing them in a collection box near the pizza station and, at the end of the month, the cafe staff selects the most inventive combination.
The winning entry is announced on the first Monday of the new month, and the winner gets the exciting opportunity to work alongside Chef Mela to prepare their creation during lunch that same week. The winning pizza is then featured every Friday throughout the month, until the next contest.
January’s winning pizza was created by Elisha Fearon, with help from his assistant Julian Feliciano. Their Hot Honey Chicken Pizza took the top spot, and Eli and Julian were joined by a crowd of friends and onlookers eager to try their delicious creation.
