Earlier this month, the Mahopac Music Department's low brass section attended the 50th annual Tuba Christmas. Cassian Fabbie, Connor Lowery, Cameron Dinsmore, Andrew Brunetti, Joaquin Martinez, Maxine Van Nortwick, Keira Kadan, and Cooper Grimm accompanied by band teacher Rich Williams played with 300 other musicians at the Rockefeller Center in New York City. Congratulations to our low brass musicians.
According to the Tuba Christmas website:
“TUBACHRISTMAS was conceived in 1974 by Harvey Phillips as a tribute to his teacher and mentor William J. Bell… we reflect on our heritage and honor all great artists/teachers whose legacy has given us high-performance standards, well-structured pedagogy, professional integrity, personal values and a camaraderie envied by all other instrumentalists.”
